Process For Logging Patients Who Do Not Attend For Their Appointments
This process relates to patients who have not attended for a booked appointment within a calendar year.
Details of patients who do not attend are logged by the Practice Manager.
If the patient does not attend (DNA) for a second time within a calendar year, a letter is written to the patient and logged on their record
If the patient does not attend for a third time within a calendar year a ‘final’ DNA letter is sent to the patient to remove them.
